MIZ ANNIE ROSS
Miz Annie Laurie Ross is the mayor of Lost River, New Mexico (actually located in Chesterfield, VA). Along with her husband Tensleep (Ross), she established the Dusty Trail Posse, a group of friends who shoot together at Lost River. She shoots a set of matched nickel Hawes revolvers with pearl handles, usually in Ladies 49er.
It was years before she "got up the nerve" to shoot elsewhere, but has recently found she enjoys shooting with the NC cowboy clubs. Last spring, Miz Annie and Tensleep traveled to New Mexico (the real one!) to End of Trail. It was a great shoot for Miz Annie....she shot all 12 stages clean, won a Dillon 550 reloader, and with the handsome Tensleep, won the Best Dressed Couples contest!
Shooting is fun for Miz Annie, but so is "dressing up." Miz Annie is re-learning how to sew under Sly's capable tutelage and making some new clothes.....for Miz Annie Ross, her 1880's cowgirl personna and also some B-Western garb for Annie Ross, Miz Annie's grand-daughter, a 1950's cowgirl who is her alternate personna.
