McCoy's Mate

I helped Dig'em Deep create the BlueRidge Regulators over eight years ago.  It actually took me several years to come up with my alias.   I was driving home from work one day and was thinking that I was just a "lonely cowboy's mate", hence McCoy's Mate (SASS #35789)  was created.  McCoy is Dig'em Deep's Christian middle name and I am his "mate".  When I registered the name, I was the only SASS member with the first name "McCoy."  I have to admit that very few know my true SASS name, as a very special/dear/loving friend changed it to" McMate",,,,,,,,,,,",Thanks, brother Arcey.  I'll probably never change the name with SASS, but everyone just calls me "McMate."

 I do shoot, a little bit.  I prefer my Ruger flat tops, '97 shotgun, and of course my" fish" rifle (Marlin).  I really like to shoot Dig'em and Gemstone's '73, but no more than I shoot, I'll stick with my Marlin.

 I placed 2nd in Ladies' Modern at NC State in 2004, and 1st place Ladies Modern at the Virginia State Championship last fall   Of course my "most favorite" place to shoot in the whole world will always be at Lost River with the Dusty Trail Posse.
