SIX GUN SALLIE
Six Gun Sallie was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She has been a flight attedant for American Airlines for 26 years. She and her husband, Dingo Dave have been married for 24 years and have lived all over the country, currently residing in Florida.
Dingo Dave discovered SASS on the internet and Sallie started cowboy shooting in January of 2002. She had never shot guns before and watched Dingo Dave shoot for 6 months before she tried it . . and loved it. Everyone was so nice and helpful and she felt right at ease!
Sallie started shooting with Ruger Vaqueros in 45 long colt, a Marlin Cowboy in 45 and a Winchester 97. In December of 2004, she changed her pistols to 32 caliber vaqueros, and in June, 2005 she traded in her Marlin on a '73 in 38 caliber.
Sallie won the Florida State Championship in 2005 and came in 4th in Ladies Traditional at End Of Trail, with a clean shoot. She is hooked on the shooting, but thinks all the wonderful people that you meet that are the best thing about this sport. She has met so many great people in the last few years!
